Biography

I create one-of- a-kind wearable art and fine art works. Before discovering my passion for textiles, I worked as a nutritionist in complementary health care, blending mindfulness meditation and
qi gong with the principles of Chinese medicine. My exposure to Asian aesthetics through Buddhist practice inspired me to pursue a creative life, which has also found expression in the kitchen and the garden. These avenues of hands-on experimentation intertwine and lead to innovative and playful creations in the studio. Working in silence and dancing to primal rhythms awaken an intuitive approach to improvisation.
